Sweet Home Chicago

Chicago A.D. (After Daley)

Billy’s back in Chicago this week, and he couldn’t have picked a better time to come home. Everyone’s buzzing about the news that Mayor Richard Daley will be retiring, and wondering what happens next. Last night, at Billy’s reading at Quimby’s Bookstore in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood, over 50 people came together to start creating a vision for the city’s future.

To keep up with/join their continuing conversation, join the new Chicago A. D. (After Daley) Facebook page.

If you are in Chicago and missed Quimby’s last night, you can still come kick it with Billy tonight at 57th Street Books at 6:30pm, or tomorrow at 6pm at the Chicago Urban Arts Society. Come through!

In other news, check out some media coverage from Billy’s Chicago book tour stop:

And listen to Billy’s interview on Vocalo Radio this morning! Thanks to the lovely hosts Molly and Brian for having him on.
